Yes, there is a genetic Danio. They are known as Glo-fish and not injected with a dye of any kind, although the majority of fish that might look like, actually injected or deleted because of the acid color. I think they come in pink, green, yellow and orange. I do not think that glow in the dark, but do it in a flash of black light.
I do not know anything about pearls in the night, but I think also neon tetras tend to exhibit this behavior, but in the dim light ...........
